Crockpot Mac and Cheese

February 23rd, 2010

This recipe is WONDERFUL for church dinners!  Last time I made it, it was gone before Len even got through the line.

Crockpot Mac & Cheese

Cook 4 cups dry elbow macaroni
Stir in 1/4 cup oil
Add 2 cans evaporated milk
16 oz shredded sharp or extra sharp cheese *
2 t salt
1/2 cup melted butter
4 T minced onion

Cook on low for 3 hours.

*I also had 8 oz mozzarella.

I have been looking for mac and cheese in the crock pot! Thanks! ;)

Mmm, sounds good, I might have to try it for our next church potluck. Might also have to try halving the recipe for dinner. Have you ever had leftovers? How well does it keep? With just the two of us, we’re always concerned with that. :-)

I reheated some one night when I made it for dinner, Mandy. I thought it was fine. I think you could technically cut the recipe in half as well if you wanted.

    Glad to help out, Sarah!
